Position Overview

We are looking for a talented and service-oriented IT & Technical Consultant to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to combine your technical expertise with financial technology skills (extensive training provided) in a dynamic, international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and manage VMware virtualization and backup technologies
  • Administer storage infrastructure and ensure systems are secure and up-to-date
  • Configure networks and manage firewall and security protocols
  • Document system configurations, technical diagrams, and SOPs
  • Collaborate with Advent Professional Services teams on technical implementations
  • Oversee Advent product upgrades and patch releases
  • Analyze client business and technical requirements
  • Identify integration points between client workflows and Advent products
  • Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot Advent software
  • Configure and automate solutions to align with client procedures
  • Deliver client training on application usage and administration
  • Manage time effectively to meet project milestones
  • Provide infrastructure recommendations to management
  • Automate tasks using scripting tools to improve efficiency
  • Participate in product and technology certification programs as needed

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, IIS, SQL Server, VMware, Hyper-V
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment
  • Familiarity with Office 365, Azure, Dynamics, and other Microsoft technologies is a plus
  • Experience in firewall and network administration
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in technical documentation
  • Proven ability to deploy new technologies across geographically diverse environments
  • University degree in a relevant field (postgraduate degree preferred)
  • Fluency in English and Greek (additional European languages are a plus)
  • Positive attitude, results-driven mindset, and strong team collaboration skills
