Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a finance & payroll specialist will be:
Payroll
Serve as the primary contact for employee payroll and benefits inquiries.
Collaborate with the CPA (Ernst & Young) to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing by submitting monthly payroll data, including teleworking records, leave declarations and bonuses, then distributing payroll receipts and maintaining payroll records.
Manage employee relations by addressing concern, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace environment in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
Track employee leave requests through MS Teams tracking system.
Finance & Expense Management
Monitor and process corporate expenses, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.
Verify and process supplier payments, ensuring accurate invoices.
Review and reconcile bank statements, maintaining accurate financial records.
Handle vendor communications, invoice collection, and ensure proper documentation is uploaded to SharePoint and Greek bank for approval and payment. Follow up on any missing receipts in coordination with CPA.
Partner with CPA to prepare financial documentation for tax reporting and assist with year-end tax processes by obtaining required data from vendors, employees, or other sources.
Act as the primary point of contact for the CPA team, ensuring smooth coordination of financial and payroll data while maintaining accurate records for internal and external use.
Administrative Support
Manage procurement of office supplies and vendor relationships.
Organize company meetings and events, including catering arrangements.
Handle external tasks such as bank visits and communication with public services.
Qualifications
To be an ideal candidate for this finance & payroll specialist position you should have:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or related field.
- Proven experience in finance operations and payroll processing.
- Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain confidentiality.
- Experience collaborating with external accounting teams is a plus.
