For a Very Well Known Insurance Company.
The Junior CISO is responsible for implementing and maintaining the information security framework within the local insurance entity, in alignment with the group's overarching security policies and directives.

This role acts as the local point of contact for all cybersecurity matters, ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and operational security readiness, while coordinating closely with the Group CISO and central security teams.

Responsabilities:

  • Policy Implementation & Compliance: Enforce and adapt group-level security policies to the local context / Ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulations (e.g., GDPR, Solvency II, DORA) / Maintain documentation and evidence for audits and regulatory reviews
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and report local information security risks. / Support risk mitigation initiatives and escalate critical risks to the Group CISO
  • Security Operations: Oversee local incident response and coordinate with group-level SOC (SecurityOperations Center) / Monitor local systems for vulnerabilities and ensure timely patching and remediation / Manage access controls and identity management in line with group standards
  • Awareness & Training: Conduct security awareness training for local staff / Promote a culture of security within the organization
  • Coordination & Reporting: Act as the liaison between the local entity and the group security team / Provide regular reports on security posture, incidents, and compliance to both local management and the Group CISO

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in IT or cybersecurity roles
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, or similar frameworks
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements in the insurance/financial sector
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus
