Responsibilities & Duties
- Daily follow-up on all vessels' technical-related performance and requirements.
- Monitor and follow daily vessel correspondence and provide feedback/assistance on technical issues.
- Routine Inspections of the assigned vessels (visits and/or by remote inspections).
- Provide any data required for vessel fixtures or any data requested by charterers.
- Work closely with the Marine and Purchasing departments to improve and follow up on the vessel's maintenance.
- Monitor and evaluate the technical crew onboard.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a year of experience as a Technical Superintendent onshore and several years of experience at sea with at least a year as a Chief Engineer.
- An experience with Container and bulk vessels-
an advantage. - A proven background in the maritime industry.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
