We are looking for an
Account Director
with a 5+ year experience to join our Account Management team.

The Corporate & PR Account Director is a key member of the team working on and managing a portfolio of clients whilst supporting and mentoring team members of staff to perform to the best of their ability.

As an
Account Director
you will be at the forefront of managing projects for the Public & Private Sector, throughout their whole process: from tendering to implementation. You will be responsible to draft, plan and execute projects across an existing portfolio & new opportunities. You will work on existing and new projects, that include a portfolio of projects for the Public & Private sector, to ensure smooth operations and the efficient, timely and successful flow of deliverables, in accordance with contractual obligations.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Client Strategy and Leadership:
    Develop and oversee the implementation of comprehensive communication and PR strategies for clients, lead and guide the team in understanding and meeting client needs and objectives.
  • Relationship Management:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and maintain strong, long-term relationships,
  • Campaign Development and Oversight:
    Oversee the development and execution of PR strategies and campaigns, ensuring they align with client objectives, stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to enhance client campaigns.
  • Representation and Thought Leadership:
    Represent the agency in key PR issues, industry events, and client presentations.
  • Plan,
    budget
    and coordinate original communication & PR activations,
  • Oversee and prepare high quality communication
    content
    (messaging, press releases, native articles, interviews, statements, letters etc.)
  • Build and maintain
    relationships
    internal and external stakeholders incl. key media, editors, KOL's, MPs & local governance and other industry members
  • Lead, draft and work on agency's
    New Business pitches and Tenders'
    participation.

The successful Candidate

MustHave

  • Ownership and perception, through a previous
    experience at an agency
    , and a hands-on role as a PR / Communications / Account Director. Minimum 5+ years in progressive experience in the communications field,
  • Bachelor's degree in communications / marketing / business or related field.
  • Experience working with large teams across multiple organizations, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requests across a variety of projects.
  • Motivated, self-starter, ability to work independently and project plan
  • Strategic thinker, strong team player, consistent attention to detail,
  • Exhibit strong work ethic - set high standards of excellence,
  • Strong organizational and planning skills to coordinate actions of multiple parties, experience in communicating and working with stakeholders at all levels.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, in both Greek and English, proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), and digital competence,
are considered a prerequisite.

  • Experience and knowledge of running projects for the Public sector.
  • Knowledge of the procedures governing Public / EU / Multinational Tenders & Specs .
  • Grasp of current political & economical environment and media stakeholders
  • Interest & savviness in innovation / industry (pharma/agro/f&b/finance) / business / political issues.
  • Interest & knowledge of EU Affairs & EU Tenders processes.
