What you will do:

Digital transformation is a continuous journey, not a once off-event. It needs to be nurtured and grown by talented people who experiment, fail and learn fast and innovate at pace. Being part of the technology team, the NN Hellas Solution Architect will be responsible for the technical analysis and holistic solution design of future capabilities and features. External dependencies, cross-domain APIs, technical enablers / stories constitute a set of factors to be addressed and expected to be handled accordingly.

Your day-to-day:

• Design and architect end-to-end solutions, review and capture functional and non-functional requirements, be able to detect dependencies, impediments and potential risks. Envision and create technical solutions leveraging NN International recommended platform, application and tools stack.
• Document functional and non-functional requirements and design solutions utilizing enterprise architecture standards. Provide alternatives in the architecture components, configuration and engineering deliverables.
• Drive platform evolution initiatives in the context of introducing new technologies, handling technical debt and improving performance, efficiency and resilience.
• Make technical design decisions that follow the level of detail of how to use/integrate the technology choices defined.
• Produce well-written specifications that document technical design decisions.
• Document solution(s) architecture regarding current application stack.
• Ensure the overall quality and fit of the solution in addition to the overall performance of the application stack.
• Review and sign off to make sure that design is well implemented.
• Contribute in the development process by standardizing engineering deliverables adopting DevOps practices.
• Participate in defining the acceptance criteria to measure engineering deliverables.
• Analyze and design architecture solutions that are 100% aligned with NN group's and NN Hellas business and IT long term strategy so that we make sure all the system and application architectural components are designed and connected in a way that the approved data and digital vison/strategy is accomplished.

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Proven experience in writing production code
• 1 year of experience leading a development team, i.e. responsible for reviewing code written by other, setting dev standards.
• 1 year of experience making important architecture and design decisions; such as application of design patterns, and design using third-party components.
• Ability to understand business models.
• Experience designing for cloud computing (Azure).
• Experience working with configuration management and infrastructure changes
• Ability to simplify complex ideas and communicate them with clear, logical thinking.
• Experience rebuilding/redesigning existing products on top of entirely new cloud services.
• Experience writing technical architecture documents.
• Experience in working with agile methodologies / in agile teams

Nice-to-have Requirements:

• Experience in design of baseline architecture and architecture diagrams.
• Experience in modelling based on ArchiMate.
• Have knowledge on business processes. Insurance processes knowledge would be a plus.
• Have knowledge on Salesforce and/or have participated in Salesforce implementation cycle.
• Azure certifications.
• TOGAF certification. A full training program will be provided towards TOGAF certification.
