Lead Tester

GEK TERNA GROUP is seeking a:

Lead Tester

for the Airport project.

Role responsibilities:

• Leads and manages a team of testers responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of airport ICT systems.
• Develops and executes test strategies, test plans, test cases and manages the testing process to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Develops and executes comprehensive test strategies, plans and test cases aligned with project requirements and business objectives.
• Identifies and prioritizes testing activities to ensure effective coverage of functional, non-functional, and integration testing.
• Leads and manages test execution activities, including functional testing, system integration testing, performance testing and security testing.
• Monitors test progress, identifies and resolves issues and tracks defects.
• Promotes and implements test automation frameworks and tools to improve testing efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Develops and maintains automated test scripts.
• Tracks and manages defects using defect tracking tools.
• Works closely with development teams to resolve defects and ensure timely fixes.
• Communicates effectively with stakeholders, including project managers, developers and business analysts.
• Provides regular updates on testing progress and status.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement and implements innovative testing techniques.
• Stays up-to-date with industry trends and emerging testing technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in leading and executing projects testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and techniques, including functional, non-functional, and integration testing.
• Experience in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
• Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Experience in testing airport ICT systems, including passenger processing systems, baggage handling systems, and security systems, is preferred.
