Noema Consulting is looking for a Senior Technical Consultant – SAP ABAP to join our international delivery team. In this role, you will work independently while collaborating closely with Business Analysts and Consultants to design, develop, and troubleshoot SAP solutions for global clients, primarily in the Banking sector. You will take ownership of end-to-end technical delivery, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and performance-optimized outcomes.

What you'll do (your day-to-day impact):

  • Partner with Business Analysts & Consultants to shape best-practice technical solutions.
  • Analyze functional requirements and deliver high-quality RICEFW developments.
  • Build and enhance ABAP solutions including:
  • DDIC objects
  • Reports (Classical, ALV, Interactive ALV)
  • User Exits, Customer Exits, BAdIs, Enhancements
  • BAPIs, RFCs
  • Module Pool, BDC
  • Adobe Forms & Smart Forms
  • Work on integrations using SOAP, REST APIs, and SOA patterns.
  • Create smart test plans and ensure delivery meets quality and performance standards.
  • Produce clear technical designs and specifications that teams can trust.

What we're looking for (must-have):

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT (or related).
  • 5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP experience, including strong RICEFW exposure.
  • Solid understanding of core SAP functional areas (basic module exposure is enough).
  • Strong grasp of clean code, best practices, and maintainable design.
  • Proven ability in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

Bonus points (nice-to-have):

  • SAP ABAP Certification
  • Workflow development/enhancement/troubleshooting
  • Upgrade project experience
  • Banking-related module exposure: Loan Management, Cash Management, BCM, Treasury (plus eTravel / HCM)
  • CDS entities/views
  • SAP BTP exposure
