Quality Assurance Engineer for Micrologistics

Quality Assurance Engineer
you will join a new Product development team in Logistics industry, which is integrated within the Engineering Division, and ensure that we deliver strong and reliable solutions to our clients. We welcome self-motivated, detail oriented and enthusiastic testers, passionate about quality, thus focused to deadlines and customers.

A Day in the Life of an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer at Qualco will include:

• Preparing detailed test cases based on business requirements and design specifications
• Executing comprehensive manual testing and API testing to identify discrepancies, ensure compliance with specifications and verify system reliability and performance. Acts independently. Escalates issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborating closely with development team to prioritize and address issues and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products
• Designing and implementing automation scripts to cover all business scenarios and product specifications;
• Executing the automated test suite to verify product functionality and review test results
• Recording defects and re-test when resolved;
• Analyzing, reporting and communicating test results for product releases;
• Communicating own progress and escalating issues/risks in a timely manner;
• Supporting customer User Acceptance Testing (Issues tracking, resolution and re-testing);
• Contributing to our On Time/On Budget/On Quality success story, and;
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

Requirements

What we are looking for

Professional Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer science, Engineering, or related field;
• Possess a firm command of both the Greek and English language (oral and written);
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with adaptability to various testing methodologies;
• Strong Communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within a scrum team;
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address issues independently and effectively;
• Understanding of continuous integration and delivery;
• Experience with black box testing techniques;
• Desire to grow in areas of expertise as needed by the evolving needs and goals of the company.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of MS Office and basic DB queries(T-SQL);
• Skilled in the utilization of tools like Postman and soapUI for testing REST and SOAP Web services;
• Experience working with Webdriver, Appium, Robotframework, Selenium, GitLab or equivalent tools is required;
• Working experience in Azure DevOps (Or willing to gain);
• Previous work experience in Courier Services or Logistic sector would be considered a plus;
• ISTQB Foundation certificate in Software Testing is advantageous but not required.
