We are looking for a Technical Compliance Analyst to provide critical insight and guidance that helps shape our products and ensures they meet regulatory obligations across all markets. You will play a key role in supporting product strategy, evaluating regulatory requirements, and ensuring our products move smoothly from concept to test and release while remaining fully compliant in every jurisdiction where Superbet operates.

We're looking for someone with:
  • Solid experience in a business, technical, or compliance analyst role.

  • Strong familiarity with sports betting and gaming industry regulations.

  • Proven ability to analyse regulatory compliance documentation and convert it into accurate, actionable functional requirements.

  • Experience collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders—technical, non-technical, internal, and external.

  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with regulatory bodies and internal teams.

  • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong time-management and organisational abilities, with comfort handling multiple streams of work.

  • Proficiency in English, written and verbal.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with complex technical or regulatory compliance frameworks.

  • Background in regulatory reporting and system integrations, including requirements gathering and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Experience dealing with regulatory audits and testing bodies, both internal and external.

  • Familiarity with Jira and/or Notion.

  • Knowledge of MoSCoW prioritisation.

  • Experience developing visual processes (e.g., process mapping).

  • Experience managing scope boundaries and change control.

  • Understanding of technology and agile development methodologies.

  • Experience contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency.

  • Proficiency in Portuguese or Spanish.

What you'll be doing:

Execution

  • Work closely with Technical Compliance Managers and Technical Analysts to understand market-entry requirements and produce detailed documentation that supports technical and product development.

  • Evaluate and translate regulatory and technical compliance materials into functional requirements, ranging from high-level planning inputs to detailed specifications for backlog shaping.

  • Partner with product managers to ensure compliance considerations are fully understood and appropriately balanced against product experience and delivery timelines.

  • Maintain clear, accurate requirements documentation, capturing changes, decisions, and compliance rationale to meet audit expectations.

  • Support licence applications for new market entries by preparing product, technical, and process documentation in alignment with Legal Compliance.

Product & Customer Knowledge

  • Build and maintain strong expertise in the regulatory frameworks for your assigned markets, with a focus on how they apply to our platforms and product set.

  • Monitor key competitors to understand how they address compliance in comparable jurisdictions and product areas.

Collaboration

  • Develop strong working relationships across Product, Technology, Commercial, Operational, Legal, Security, AML, and Data Protection teams.

  • Set clear expectations with stakeholders and communicate progress, priorities, and outcomes effectively.

  • Ensure product teams deliver and maintain compliant product features and underlying technology in all applicable markets.

  • Engage with regulatory bodies to handle queries and provide clarity to internal teams when required.

Vision & Strategy

  • Understand and align with the company's broader strategic direction and how Technical Compliance supports it.

  • Build deep knowledge of our platforms and products to identify compliance gaps and define compliance scope for new market launches.
