We are looking for a
UAV Maintenance & Integration Engineer
with the following characteristics:

Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or a related technical discipline.
  2. 3+ years of practical experience in UAV assembly, integration, and field maintenance.
  3. Hands-on knowledge of UAV subsystems including motors, ESCs, flight controllers, GPS, servos, and power distribution.
  4. Proven ability to assemble both fixed-wing and VTOL UAV platforms, ensuring structural integrity and optimal performance.
  5. Experience with ground control software and autopilot platforms (e.g., PX4, ArduPilot, Mission Planner, QGroundControl).
  6. Skilled in soldering, wiring, and troubleshooting electrical/electronic components.
  7. Familiarity with calibration procedures for IMUs, GNSS, compasses, and other onboard sensors.
  8. Strong understanding of LiPo battery handling, charging, and safety practices.
  9. Ability to perform preventive maintenance and repair under field conditions.
  10. Knowledge of UAV safety protocols, risk assessment, and compliance with aviation regulations.
  11. Excellent technical reporting and documentation skills.
  12. Willingness to travel within Greece on short notice.
  13. Valid driver's license.
  14. Holding an EASA A1/A2/A3 Certificate will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assemble and integrate UAV components, ensuring mechanical and electronic systems are installed and configured correctly.
  2. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fixed-wing and VTOL UAVs, including motors, servos, avionics, and power systems.
  3. Conduct pre-flight checks, sensor calibrations, and firmware updates.
  4. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, replacing or repairing defective parts as needed.
  5. Support flight testing, including data collection and post-mission diagnostics.
  6. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and system performance.
  7. Collaborate with engineers and pilots to ensure UAV readiness for missions.
  8. Train or assist operators in proper UAV handling, care, and routine maintenance.
