Senior Backend Software Engineer
to join our team and embrace the following
responsibilities
:

  • Lead your product's backend team, owning architecture, planning, and delivery
  • Architect, design, and develop efficient, scalable and reliable backend systems
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver excellent user experiences
  • Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
  • Manage and operate your solutions, ensuring they perform optimally in production
  • Support and mentor team members
  • Continuously discover, evaluate and adopt new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and learning ability
  • Self-drive and a proactive mindset
  • 4+ years of industry experience in software development
  • Experience in leading small to medium-sized teams
  • Strong skills in

    (JavaScript or TypeScript), or other server-side technologies
  • Strong background in non-relational database systems, such as
    MongoDB
    or Redis
  • Testing mindset and an eye for clean code
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve workflows and outcomes
  • Experience in designing REST APIs
  • Experience with task planning and effort estimation
  • Understanding of security principles and how they apply to backend systems
  • Strong background in Computer Science
  • A passion for delivering exceptional user experiences
  • Proven literacy in English
  • Military obligations must be fulfilled (if applicable)
  • Bonus: Experience with cloud-hosting platforms, such as Heroku or AWS
  • Bonus: Experience with performance monitoring tools, such as New Relic
  • Bonus: Strong background in relational databases and SQL
