Location Overview

Role
We are seeking a sociable and service-oriented Director of Sales & Marketing to join our Executive Committee at Amanzoe. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for the strategic planning, development, and execution of all Sales and Marketing efforts to drive revenue across Rooms, Villas, F&B, Spa, and Activities. You will collaborate closely with Aman's Global and Corporate teams, as well as manage local initiatives, ensuring all efforts align with the brand's positioning and commercial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement the resort's Sales & Marketing strategy and annual budget across all market segments (Leisure, Weddings, MICE, Corporate)
  • Define and execute a villa-specific strategy to maximize revenue and occupancy
  • Work closely with the Reservations and Revenue teams to ensure optimal forecasting and yield management using tools such as Ideas
  • Identify opportunities for shoulder and off-season growth through targeted promotions and market-specific offers
  • Represent Amanzoe globally at trade shows, sales missions, showcases, and industry events
  • Foster strong relationships with DMCs and develop strategic marketing partnerships
  • Drive sales performance through data-informed business development, lead generation, and account management
  • Collaborate with the Aman Corporate Marketing and Social Media teams to ensure alignment and brand integrity across all platforms
  • Curate a robust local content strategy (EDMs, seasonal campaigns, acquisition) and manage PR/media visits and FAM trips
  • Maintain consistency in collateral and branding across all materials in accordance with Aman house style
  • Coordinate with the Sales & Events Executive to manage group and buyout opportunities strategically
  • Oversee the resort's reputation management, crisis communication, and strategic messaging
  • Contribute to and Trade Portal updates, ensuring content accuracy and localization
  • Manage relationships with local PR agencies and liaise with ownership on marketing initiatives for Aman Residences

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the luxury hospitality industry
  • Strong command of English; additional language(s) are a plus
  • Established network within the international luxury travel trade
  • Deep understanding of revenue management and forecasting practices
  • Familiarity with Opera PMS, IDeaS RMS, and CRM systems such as NextGuest
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • High standard of grooming and professionalism
