About the Role

We are currently looking for a Microsoft Dynamics Operational Specialist to take ownership of the Application Layer of our on-premise Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment. While the underlying infrastructure and OS-level operations are managed by a dedicated IT team, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and functional excellence of the ERP system from the application perspective.

  5+ years of experience in ERP administration, operations, or technical consulting - ideally in Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC or NAV

  University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field

Your Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the smooth operation, maintenance, and ongoing development of our business-critical ERP applications (Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central)
• Technical support and administration of software solutions, including interfaces to peripheral systems (e.g. ERP, CRM, DMS, and custom business applications)
• Analysis and resolution of incidents or network issues, as well as coordination with internal departments and external service providers
• Execution of system and integration tests during updates, releases, and new feature rollouts
• Support in planning and implementing IT projects within the application landscape
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and operational manuals
• Advising business departments on technical possibilities and potential for optimization
• Monitor system performance, availability, and application security in collaboration with IT operations.
• Manage user roles, access rights, and environment configurations in accordance with internal standards.
• Analyze logs and telemetry data on application level to identify trends, performance bottlenecks, or recurring issues.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of experience in ERP administration, operations, or technical consulting – ideally in Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC or NAV.
• Strong understanding of ERP architecture and application operations – including integrations, access management, and performance monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft tools such as Power Platform, Azure AD, SQL Server, and Telemetry.
• Solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across departments and international teams.
• University degree (Bachelor's or Master's) in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German language skills are a plus.
