We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate Lawyer with expertise in
Banking Law and Project Finance
to join a leading Greek law firm . This is an excellent opportunity to become a part of a dynamic, highly skilled team of qualified attorneys. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
banking and corporate finance
and will be responsible for providing expert legal counsel and representation to clients.

Responsibilities

For the role of
Associate Lawyer ,
your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting consultations with clients to structure potential transactions and assist with their legal implementation.
  • Drafting, commenting on, and negotiating finance documents, such as credit facilities and syndicated/bilateral bond loans.
  • Drafting and negotiating other relevant financing documents, including NDAs, mandate letters, and term sheets.
  • Drafting and negotiating sophisticated security packages and ensuring their perfection.
  • Preparing corporate resolutions related to finance transactions.
  • Checking for the fulfillment of conditions precedent and handling post-closing issues.
  • Staying updated on development programs, RRF financing, and other co-financing or guarantee programs from organizations like EIB.
  • Handling multiple and complex legal issues with initiative and flexibility.
  • Participating in client meetings and conferences.
  • Maintaining consistent and transparent communication with clients regarding case progress and inquiries.
  • Working effectively as an active team member and sharing knowledge with other associates.

Qualifications

For the role of
Associate Lawyer
, the ideal candidate will bring:

  • A Bachelor of Law.
  • A Master of Laws is desirable.
  • Qualification as an Attorney-at-Law in Greece.
  • Excellent written communication and drafting skills.
  • Fluency in the English language, including both oral communication and legal writing.
