DevOps Engineer
to join a dynamic and fast-growing team.

Our client is a leading company specializing in renewable energy systems and energy management solutions.

Location: Athens - Northern Suburbs

Working Model: Onsite (hybrid is an option after the on-boarding process)

Reporting to: Head of IT

What you will do:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will join a dynamic and innovative IT team and will play a key role in developing, deploying, and maintaining critical infrastructure for cloud-based and on-premise systems. You will work closely with development and operations teams to ensure high availability, performance, and automation of deployments across the technology stack.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Managing and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure
  • Maintaining and supporting the company's cloud-based IoT platform
  • Building and maintaining scalable CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins)
  • Automating system provisioning and configuration using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
  • Supporting and optimizing operational processes through scripting and automation
  • Improving deployment workflows and service operations across environments
  • Monitoring system performance and ensuring high availability using tools like Grafana

Requirements:

  • A Degree in Computer Science or other relevant disciplines
  • 1-3 years of experience in a DevOps or relevant role
  • Strong programming skills in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, etc.) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
  • Experience in Docker and NoSQL DBs (MongoDB), message queues (RabbitMQ)
  • Strong skills in Linux
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservice architecture
  • Familiarity with Monitoring system performance and ensuring high availability using tools like Grafana
  • Problem solving mindset, approaching challenges methodically, identifying root causes and evaluating practical solutions
  • Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written, in Greek and English

Will be highly appreciated:

  • Experience in Azure or AWS management tools
