Company Description

Ebarber is a fast-growing online booking platform and marketplace for barbershops, currently serving over 100k users across Greece and Cyprus. Our mission is to modernize the grooming industry with high-performing software that helps professionals grow their business, and users book their haircut appointment in zero time.

As we prepare for international expansion, we're launching a brand-new app—and we're looking for a talented
Senior React / React Native Developer
to bring it to life.

Location
: Remote (with occasional in-person meetings in our offices in Athens)

Type
: Freelance / Project-based contract with Long-Term Potential

This is a remote role, however, some in-person meetings in our Athens office may be required to review progress and align on key milestones.

What You'll Do


• Build a cross-platform mobile app (React Native) & web interface (React) from scratch, based on Figma UI designs.


• Follow clean architecture and industry best practices (component structure, state management, performance optimization).


• Ensure the application is scalable, maintainable, and well-documented.


• Collaborate with the internal team i.e. Product Owner & CTO for integrations, product flow, and QA.


• Deliver on time, according to our pre-agreed milestones and payment plan.

Required Skills


• 4+ years of hands-on experience in React and React Native.


• Strong command of TypeScript, Redux (or similar state management), and React Navigation.


• Ability to build pixel-perfect UIs from Figma.


• Solid experience with RESTful API integration, version control (Git), and testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).


• Deep understanding of mobile app performance and responsive UI.


• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Nice to Have


• Familiarity with Expo, , or SSR.


• Experience with GraphQL, Firebase, or push notifications.


• Past experience deploying apps to App Store / Google Play.


• Previous work in marketplace, booking, or scheduling platforms.


• A strong portfolio or previous freelance project references.
