Alternative Research Solutions, a company with long-standing experience in the Marketing Research sector, is looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join the Business Intelligence (BI) team.

This role's primary purpose is to support the collaboration between the Business Intelligence (BI) and Customer Intelligence (CI) departments, focusing on data analysis, reporting, and the maintenance or development of ETL processes and automations.

Work Model: Hybrid - 1–2 days per week in office (Athens-based).

Main Responsibilities

  • Analyze data from surveys and customer sources.
  • Develop dashboards and analytical reports.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing BI processes.
  • Participate in new BI projects (data ingestion, forecasting, automation).
  • Provide technical and analytical support to the CI department.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with Python for data analysis and transformation using libraries such as pandas, SQLAlchemy, plotly, scikit-learn.
  • Familiarity with SQL (PostgreSQL or SQL Server) - writing queries, joins, aggregations, and extracting data.
  • Experience with Power BI (or alternative tools such as Looker / Tableau) and Excel (Lookups, Pivot Tables, optional VBA).
  • Attention to detail, teamwork, and consistency in task execution.
  • AI Exposure / Curiosity: interest or basic experience with AI tools and APIs (e.g., OpenAI API, N8N, or similar automation platforms).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., Flask, Streamlit) and basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Understanding of basic statistical concepts and experience in survey data analysis or questionnaire processing.
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems for code management and collaboration.
