We are looking for an experienced and passionate
Head Chef
to lead culinary operations at
Vasia Ormos Hotel
in Agios Nikolaos. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across menus, while maintaining high standards of hygiene and organization. You will lead, train, and inspire the kitchen team, contributing to menu development and overall guest satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all kitchen operations and daily food production.
- Lead, train, and motivate the culinary team to deliver consistent quality.
- Ensure high standards of food presentation, taste, and service.
- Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Develop menus, recipes, and seasonal offerings aligned with the hotel concept.
- Manage food cost, inventory, ordering, and waste control.
- Ensure kitchen organization, equipment maintenance, and operational efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Head Chef or senior kitchen leadership role.
- Strong culinary background with hands-on leadership experience.
- Proven ability to manage teams in a hotel or resort environment.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Solid knowledge of food cost control and kitchen operations.
- Culinary qualification is required; additional certifications are an advantage.
