We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on
IT Manager
to take full ownership of the company's IT environment.

The
IT Manager
position is full-time, permanent and based in Piraeus, with occasional travel to the Middle East.

Responsibilities

As
IT Manager
, you will play a central role in shaping and stabilizing the company's entire IT environment — from infrastructure and cybersecurity to digital operations and support. You will lead the design, setup, and unification of core systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and scalability for future growth.

Working closely with the leadership team and reporting directly to the CEO, you will also manage one direct report and collaborate with internal stakeholders across functions and regions. More specifically:

• Take full ownership of the company's IT infrastructure, including OS, servers, domains, networking, endpoint management, and cybersecurity
• Map, assess, and unify existing IT systems and tools — including resolving limited access to previously configured systems
• Design and implement IT policies, disaster recovery plans, data protection protocols, and internal IT controls
• Set up and manage key platforms such as ticketing/helpdesk systems, backups, access and identity management, and device monitoring
• Oversee hardware and software provisioning across the organization
• Manage vendor relationships, licensing, contracts, and procurement processes for IT services and products
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security posture
• Provide end-user support and serve as the escalation point for IT-related issues
• Coach and develop one IT team member; potentially grow the team as business needs evolve

Qualifications

In order for your profile to match this
IT Manager
position, you need to have the following:

• Proven experience in IT infrastructure setup, administration, and support within a corporate environment
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Strong understanding of network architecture, firewalls, security protocols, domains, and endpoint management
• Solid hands-on experience with Windows/Linux environments, Active Directory, and system monitoring tools
• Experience implementing and managing cybersecurity policies, access controls, and backup/recovery procedures
• Demonstrated ability to manage IT vendors, licenses, and procurement processes end-to-end
• Familiarity with helpdesk/ticketing systems and ITIL-based support models
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Willingness and ability to travel occasionally to the Middle East, depending on project needs (e.g. site rollouts or system releases)
