Tester
As a Tester you will:
- Contribute to the distribution of all Quality Assurance practices, standards, methodologies, and metrics.
- Translate business requirements and specifications into test solutions that ensure the highest quality of the deliverables.
- Analyze, design, plan and execute strategies for all unit, process, function, integration, and acceptance testing for covering all software lifecycle phases.
- Design automation test plans, scenarios, scripts, and/or procedures.
- Perform automation test execution; mentor, direct and monitor other testers in automation principles.
- Be responsible for partnering with project management to identify areas for improved testing efficiencies, test automation and implementation of automated testing methodologies.
- Document test procedures to ensure repeatability and compliance with standards.
- Collect and report test results through various metrics reporting tools and communicating to key stakeholders on a regular basis.
What would make you a fit for the role:
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ICT sector; experience in designing, planning and execution of software testing strategies will be nice to have.
- Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle for enterprise scale projects with Agile methodologies or Test-Driven Development and continuous integration processes
- Hand-on experience in issue & project tracking tools (Jira and Atlassian product stack)
- Working experience with Automation Testing tools (JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber & Soap UI) and Defect Tracking Tools (Bugzilla).
- Knowledge of Java and/or .NET.
- Experience of SQL, XML, JSON, SOAP, and REST.
- ISTQB Foundation Level (or equivalent Certification) is nice to have.
