Your expertise, creativity, and leadership will ensure the highest standards of quality while inspiring junior team members to grow and excel.

Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection, inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style. This role will be based in Zuma Mykonos, a first-of-its-kind lifestyle destination. Featuring a sleek infinity-pool, lounge, restaurant and resident DJs, our vibrant seasonal location is a dynamic lifestyle concept that captures the essence of contemporary dining and entertainment making it the dining destination in Mykonos.

Main Duties
Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain sufficient mise en place levels to ensure smooth service flow, while focusing on minimizing waste
  • Monitor the quality, consistency, appearance, and taste of all pastry products, delivering perfection in every dish
  • Conduct daily hygiene checks in storage areas, ensuring compliance with Zuma's rigorous cleanliness and safety standards
  • Explore and learn other kitchen sections to enhance team collaboration and efficiency
  • Maintain high personal hygiene and appearance standards, reflecting Zuma's commitment to excellence
  • Coach and mentor Pastry Commis Chefs, helping them develop their skills and align with Zuma's high standards of quality and consistency.
