As a Technical Writer you will:
- Create and maintain documentation for our next-generation retail planning and optimization solutions. Develop clear and concise technical documentation, user guides, release notes, and training material.
- Deliver training to support clients and internal teams and ensure product adoption
- Analyze business user requirements, design and test new features and functionalities for our products, facilitating the complete software development lifecycle and contributing to the product roadmap
- Collaborate with SMEs, product managers and engineers to collect accurate information and turn insights into actions that drive product success
- Conduct product Quality Assurance. Design and execute test cases to validate product features, identify bugs, and ensure the product meets functional and technical requirements
- Work on cutting-edge decision support systems and state of the art data platforms, combining collaborative planning capabilities with real-time data analytics, AI algorithms and Machine Learning
- Receive mentorship (optional) as well as additional training from both inside and outside the company (additional courses, trainings, and certifications)
- Join a highly collaborative, cross-functional team and work as part of an agile development process on modern development and collaboration platforms (Azure, Microsoft 365, Trello, others)
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, Business, or related field
- At least 2 years of working experience in technical writing or relevant role on a corporate level
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong attention to detail and ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly and concisely
- Familiarity with documentation tools (Markdown, MKdocs, Confluence, Git)
- Basic understanding of programming concepts, technical architecture and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Desired Skills:
- Ability to create multimedia documentation, such as video tutorials or interactive walkthroughs
- Strong understanding of UX principles and their application to technical content
- Familiarity with Agile software delivery
