Detailed Job description

  • Meet professional practice standards and demonstrate value and competence in core ADACOM service areas, in Enterprise Core Switches and Routers, Application Delivery Controllers and innovative network management solutions,
  • Execute delivery work that meets or exceeds world class standards and demanding expectations based on strong understanding of client's business and needs,
  • Document new installations, troubleshooting issues and resolution actions for future reference,
  • Facilitate business process design and development to leverage rapid response capabilities,
  • Provide timely consultation for problem resolution and shared resources negotiation,
  • Ensure successful ongoing operations with knowledge transfer to customers,
  • Stays updated regarding new technology through industry news

Requirements

Qualifications related to the Job

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications or similar discipline is mandatory,
  • Minimum 3 years hands-on experience as Network Engineer with a strong focus on network solutions,
  • Proven Track record of complex and large-scale installations,
  • Strong knowledge in TCP/IP, DNS, IP networking (Routing, Switching, VLANs, Spanning Tree, BGP, OSPF),
  • Strong knowledge of security systems such as Firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, Proxy,
  • Certifications in Data Networks (CCNA/CCNP) is a strong must,
  • Strong analytical abilities,
  • Organized, responsive and highly thorough problem solver,
  • Have excellent team work and interpersonal communication skills,
  • Excellent verbal and written command of English
