About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and committed 
HSQE Officer
 to support our 
LNG tanker fleet
 from our shore office. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing our company's 
Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental Management System (HSQE-MS)
, ensuring full compliance with international maritime regulations and LNG industry standards — without the need for regular travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the company's 
    HSQE Management System
     in line with 
    ISM Code, ISO 9001/14001/45001, and TMSA
     requirements.
  • Review and analyze 
    incident, audit, and inspection reports
     from vessels, tracking corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support the development and implementation of 
    safety and environmental initiatives
     across the LNG fleet.
  • Coordinate with vessel management teams to ensure compliance with 
    flag, class, and international regulations
    .
  • Manage 
    document control
    , safety performance statistics, and data reporting to management.
  • Prepare and update 
    Safety Management Manuals, procedures, and forms.
  • Assist with vetting preparation
    , internal audits, and third-party inspections (remotely).
  • Promote a strong 
    safety culture
     and continuous improvement mindset within the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in 
    Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, Safety Management, or a related field
    .
  • Maximum of
    2 years of HSQE or safety management experience
     within the 
    LNG or tanker shipping industry
    .
  • Strong knowledge of 
    ISM Code, MARPOL, SOLAS, MLC, and LNG industry best practices (SIGTTO, TMSA)
    .
  • Familiarity with 
    ISO 9001/14001/45001 systems
     and audit processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in MS Office and document management systems.
  • Analytical, organized, and able to handle multiple priorities with attention to detail.
