We are looking for a self-motivated, detail-oriented and strong team-player
Trade Analyst
to join our Commercial team, in
Piraeus office
. This role plays a key part in analyzing trade performance and supporting data-driven decisions across our container shipping operations.

Responsibilities & Duties

· Analyze container shipping trade lanes) for volume, pricing trends and market share

· Monitor competitor activities, including service offerings, capacity, pricing strategies

· Provide regular performance updates for assigned trades (revenue, volume, utilization)

· Recommend freight rate adjustments based on demand-supply balance and market intelligence

· Assist in revenue forecasting, budgeting and margin analysis

· Support trade managers with decisions on service rotations, port calls and sailing frequency

· Monitor container flow and equipment imbalances to ensure operational efficiency

· Prepare and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reports to track trade performance

· Ensure accuracy and consistency of trade data across internal systems

· Compare actual performance against budget, highlight variances and recommend corrective actions

· Collaborate closely with Pricing, Sales & Marketing, Operations and Finance teams

Requirements & Skills:

· University Degree in Maritime and/or Business Administration or a related field

· Up to 5 years of experience in a Sales or Commercial role within the shipping sector

· Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

· Analytical and time-management skills

· Strong attention to detail with a global, strategic mindset

· Team-oriented, with a proactive and solutions-driven attitude
