What To Expect
Tesla is seeking a testing engineer with electrical engineering background, modeling and measuring electric motor and actuator problems. This person will be working as part of the Tesla motor technology team located in Athens, Greece, towards improving motor modeling accuracy, developing test plans and performing measurements in the dyno lab.

Ο/Η υποψήφιος/α θα είναι μέρος της ομάδας Τεχνολογίας Ηλεκτρικών Μηχανών στην Αθήνα, και θα συνεισφέρει στη βελτίωση της ακρίβειας μοντελοποίησης, την ανάπτυξη σχεδίων μετρήσεως και την εκτέλεση μετρήσεων στο δυναμόμετρο.

What You'll Do- Develop new and enhance existing motor characterization dyno tests to derive motor equivalent model parameters, loss maps to train the model
- Perform dyno characterization tests to evaluate the impact of new materials in motor/system performance and efficiency.
- Write measurement sequence code
- Write simulation code for testing modeling functions in an isolated way for comparison with experimental results
- Archive experimental results to respective databases
- Ανάπτυξη νέων και βελτίωση υφισταμένων ακολουθιών μέτρησης ηλεκτρικών μηχανών στο δυναμόμετρο με σκοπό τον προσδιορισμό των παραμέτρων του ισοδύναμου κυκλώματος και τους χάρτες απωλειών προς βελτίωση του μοντέλου
- Μετρήσεις χαρακτηρισμού για τον προσδιορισμό της επίδρασης νέων υλικών στην απόδοση και επίδοση της ηλεκτρικής μηχανής και του συστήματος ηλεκτρικής κίνησης.
- Ανάπτυξη πειραματικού κώδικα αυτοματοποιημένων ακολουθιών μέτρησης
- Ανάπτυξη κώδικα προσομοιώσεων για την επιβεβαίωση της μοντελοποίησης και τη σύγκριση με τα πειραματικά αποτελέσματα
- Αρχειοθέτηση πειραματικών αποτελεσμάτων στις αντίστοιχες βάσεις δεδομένων
What You'll Bring- Studies in electrical engineering
- Strong mathematical and physics background
- Excellent knowledge of electrical machines theory
- Matlab programming
- Experience in conducting electric/thermal/mechanical/acoustic measurements with high accuracy equipment (power analyzer, oscilloscope etc.)
- Experience with dynamometer layout and Veristand
The following will be considered as plus:

  • Experience in advanced electromagnetics modeling
  • Experience running a laboratory or motor test rig
  • Experience realizing power electronic board

  • Πολύ καλή κατανόηση λειτουργίας ηλεκτρικών μηχανών
  • Εξαιρετικές δεξιότητες προγραμματισμού σε περιβάλλον MATLAB
  • Εμπειρία σε διεξαγωγή ηλεκτρικών/θερμικών/μηχανικών/ακουστικών μετρήσεων με εξοπλισμό υψηλής ακρίβειας (αναλυτές ενέργειας, παλμογράφους κλπ.)

  • Εμπειρία σε δυναμομετρήσεις και στο Veristand
