As an
HR Assistant
at Metron, you will play an important role in supporting our Human Resources operations and ensuring smooth day-to-day processes.

Your key responsibilities
will include scheduling calls and interviews, maintaining and updating candidate and employee databases, and preparing and managing HR-related documentation. You will work closely with our HR team to keep recruitment and onboarding processes well-organized and efficient.

This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a dynamic environment where accuracy and confidentiality are key.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day HR operations and ensure effective workflow across all HR processes
  • Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and personnel files in accordance with internal procedures
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job ads, reviewing applications, and scheduling interviews
  • Support the onboarding process of new employees, ensuring proper introduction to company policies and safety standards
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide administrative support to HR-related requests
  • Assist with benefits administration, training coordination, and HR reporting
  • Help organize safety briefings, employee workshops, and development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor regulations, and internal safety protocols
  • Provide administrative support in staffing and personnel planning for different departments

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; a Master's degree in Human Resources is considered an asset
  • 2+ years of experience in HR administration or a similar administrative role within an industrial or manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of HR processes, recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management
  • Familiarity with attendance and payroll preparation procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
  • Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative attitude, with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
  • Understanding of workplace safety culture and the importance of compliance with PPE and health & safety standards
