We are looking for:

Vacancy Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Science Instructor to join our team at Axsos Academy. As a Data Science Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the areas of data science, statistics, and programming. You will be expected to develop and deliver high-quality lectures, exercises, and projects that help students develop the skills they need to become successful data scientists.

Your Profile:
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

  • You have natural leadership.
  • Excellent problem-solving, management skills, communication skills, presentation skills and public speaking, collaborative.
  • You are passionate about teaching code and explaining concepts to others.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging and informative lectures on data science, statistics, and programming topics
  • Design and implement hands-on exercises and projects that help students apply concepts in real-world settings
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on their work
  • Mentor students and provide guidance on career development and job readiness
  • Collaborate with other instructors and staff to continuously improve the curriculum and learning experience
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data science and related fields
Competencies:
  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in data science, computer science, statistics, or a related field
  • Strong background in data science, statistics, and programming
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience teaching or mentoring students in a classroom or workshop setting
  • Passion for helping others learn and succeed
  • Familiarity with common data science Python libraries, such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, Keras, and others.
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools, such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Applicants must be willing to travel to Ramallah as part of this role.
