About the Role

A company client of ours, operating as a licensed Payment Institution under the supervision of the Bank of Greece and firmly established within the digital payments space, is seeking to hire on a permanent basis a Head of Deputy. The role will temporarily step into MLRO duties for approximately one year due to maternity leave, and then remain within the core compliance leadership structure long-term.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee regulatory policies, frameworks, implementation and continuous improvements
  • Manage KYC, CDD and enhanced due diligence process flows
  • Lead follow up on monitoring outcomes / alerts coming from analysts
  • Prepare reporting packs & insights to CEO / CFO & governance bodies
  • Maintain active contact with public authorities on fraud investigations
  • Perform MLRO duties for 1 year due to maternity leave – afterwards remain Deputy MLRO permanently

Requirements

  • 4+ years experience in regulatory compliance / AML / Risk / Payments / Financial Services
  • Proven track record working with KYC / CDD frameworks
  • Ability to work cross-functionally & lead regulatory execution end-to-end
  • Excellent command of English & Greek
