Claims Specialist

AVAX Group is looking for a skilled and driven   Claims Specialist to join its Insurance Department

If you're ready to manage insurance claims from a to z,  dive into complex projects, deal with different policies,   take ownership, and deliver results, this is the role for you.

As a key member of the team, you will manage the full lifecycle of claims related to complex engineering, liabilities, corporate policies, working closely with brokers, insurers, and internal departments to ensure every claim is resolved with accuracy, professionalism, and speed.

Your Key Responsibilities:

Manage and negotiate claims under Contractors All Risks (CAR), Liability, Property, CPM, Marine and more

Collect and analyze claim data from all involved parties

Investigate incidents and apply insurance policy terms

Communicate with brokers, adjusters, insurers and reinsurers

Maintain accurate claim files and update the Claims & Risk Registers

Coordinate and participate in site inspections and pre-risk surveys

Suggest process improvements and support risk reporting

Your Profile:

5+ years of experience in claims handling, ideally in  engineering lines

University degree

Excellent command of English and strong knowledge of insurance terminology

Deep understanding of policy wording and claims negotiation practices

Analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and highly organized

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Team spirit, loyalty, integrity, and the ability to work under pressure
