We are looking for a Compliance Manager to join our Quality & Excellence Department in our offices located in Aspropyrgos.
As a Compliance Manager, you will ensure that the company's logistics operations comply with Greek and EU laws, internal policies, and industry standards. The role involves monitoring regulatory changes, coordinating compliance across departments, conducting internal audits, and supporting a culture of ethical and safe operations.
Responsibilities- Ensure full compliance with Greek legislation, EU regulations, and logistics-sector requirements (transportation, warehousing, environmental rules).
- Track and interpret regulatory changes affecting logistics operations and ensure timely policy updates.
- Verify proper implementation of operational standards (ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 50001, ADR, GDP, etc.).
- Oversee compliance related to transport licensing, driver certifications, vehicle documentation, and safety procedures.
- Support cross-functional teams in aligning logistics workflows with regulatory obligations.
- Identify compliance risks across transport, warehousing, and supply chain activities.
- Conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
- Recommend corrective actions and follow up on remediation measures.
- Prepare compliance reports and support management reviews.
- Develop and deliver training on compliance topics (GDPR, anti-corruption, safety, internal policies).
- Promote a company-wide culture of accountability, transparency, and ethical conduct.
- Ensure logistics processes comply with GDPR, including systems for tracking, customer/supplier data, and warehouse surveillance.
- Collaborate with the Data Protection Officer (if applicable) on data-related compliance matters.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex documentation.
- Strong business writing and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with operations, legal, and senior management teams.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Certifications in compliance, internal auditing, or supply chain management would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with ISO standards applicable to logistics is desirable.
- Knowledge of digital logistics systems (WMS, TMS, and tracking tools) would be an advantage is considered a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in compliance, logistics operations, auditing, or regulatory roles.
- Familiarity with Greek transport law, EU logistics standards, operational compliance frameworks, and GDPR.
