Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance and Quality Control Engineer based in Athens. The QA/QC Engineer will oversee and enforce quality assurance and control processes throughout all project stages. Responsibilities include quality planning, performing inspections, ensuring adherence to quality standards, conducting quality audits, and managing documentation. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address issues and ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in QA/QC roles within construction or industrial projects
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
  • Fluency in Greek and English
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

Quality Control (QC)

  • Conduct site inspections and testing to verify compliance with project specifications
  • Manage NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and corrective actions
  • Prepare and maintain Inspection and Test Reports (ITRs)
  • Perform punch listing and participate in final inspections

Quality Assurance (QA)

  • Develop and implement Project Quality Plans
  • Ensure documentation and compliance with ISO 9001 standards
  • Conduct internal audits and support external audits
  • Provide training and promote quality awareness among site teams
  • Evaluate suppliers and subcontractors for quality compliance
