THE TEAM
You will be the visionary leader of our pre-opening Wellness, Explorers, and Retail teams, building these world-class departments from the ground up. You will report directly to the Hotel Manager and collaborate as a key strategic partner to other department heads to fully integrate wellness and curated experiences into the fabric of the Rosewood Blue Palace guest experience.

YOUR ROLE
As the Director of Wellness, you will lead the strategic vision to position Rosewood Blue Palace as a true wellness destination, integrating well-being as a defining pillar across Rooms, F&B, Recreation, and Guest Experience. Beyond overseeing the spa, this role will drive collaboration, innovation, and guest engagement to establish the resort as a global reference for transformative, sense-of-place wellness experiences – enhancing guest satisfaction and driving ancillary revenue across all departments.

HOW YOU'LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Visionary leadership with the ability to influence multi-departmental strategy and elevate wellness into a core business and brand driver.
• Design and implement a groundbreaking portfolio of integrated wellness programs, from spa and fitness to mindfulness, all inspired by the unique location of Crete.
• Strong commercial acumen, able to link wellness initiatives to measurable ROI, revenue capture, and guest loyalty.
• Expertise in concept development, programming, and guest experience design within ultra-luxury hospitality environments.
• Proven ability to build strategic partnerships (brand, medical, wellness, and lifestyle) aligned with Rosewood's standards.
• Skilled in team empowerment and cultural transformation, inspiring alignment across operational departments.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

• You are a strategic visionary with 8-10 years in luxury hospitality or destination wellness, including 3 years in a senior leadership role, and you leverage your strategic thinking to build world-class departments from the ground up in pre-opening environments.
• You have a background in spa, wellness, and holistic programming within a resort or destination setting.
• You are an expert in integrated wellness operations, including F&B, movement, longevity, or mindfulness programming.
• You bring exposure to international markets and pre-opening environments, preferably within island or remote resort destinations.
• As a collaborative and inspirational leader, your exceptional communication and influencing skills to engage stakeholders across disciplines and cultures.
• You possess a deep understanding of luxury guest behavior and emerging wellness trends.
• You are financially literate and proficient in P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• You have an entrepreneurial mindset, able to balance innovation with operational excellence and brand integrity.
