About the role
We are looking for a
dedicated Foley Artist
—
not a sound designer, editor, or mixer
— to join the Athens Film Sound team.
This role focuses exclusively on the
physical performance of Foley
: footsteps, props, textures, and movement. You will perform and record high-quality Foley for film, series, and commercials, working in our custom-built Foley stage equipped with pits, surfaces, props, and a dedicated water tank.
What you'll do
- Perform Foley for feature films, series, and short-form content.
- Work closely with the Foley Recordist / Pro Tools Specialist to capture precise performances.
- Collaborate with the Sound Design team to match the director's vision.
- Maintain props, surfaces, and ensure efficient workflow during sessions.
What you'll bring
- Proven experience as a Foley Artist with portfolio / credit list (film/TV preferred).
- Excellent timing, movement, and storytelling through sound.
- Creativity with props and confident improvisation.
- Detail‑oriented collaborator and reliable team player.
Nice to have
- Experience with experimental / non‑traditional Foley approaches.
- Familiarity with DAWs or sound‑design tools.
