Purchasing Specialist
.

Location:
Aspropyrgos, West Attica

Work model:

Report to: Purchasing Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Purchasing Department
• Communicate effectively with suppliers both within Greece and internationally
• Conduct thorough market research to identify and evaluate new suppliers and materials
• Monitor material usage and costs to ensure procurement stays within budget
• Ensure all purchased items meet required quality standards and comply with both internal policies and industry regulations
• Prepare detailed proposals for purchasing materials and services, outlining potential options and their costs
• Perform cost analysis and compare supplier pricing to ensure cost efficiency and project budget alignment
• Provide recommendations for cost-saving strategies and alternative materials without compromising quality or project timelines

Requirements:

• Degree in a Technical field such as Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Architecture
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a relevant position within the Construction sector
• Excellent computer literacy, with knowledge of Microsoft office tools
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential
• Knowledge of an additional foreign language will be considered a strong asset
