Role DescriptionElval Colour established in 1977 is a subsidiary of the ElvalHalcor Group, a leading manufacturer worldwide, in the segments of aluminium and copper. The company manufactures and sells a complete range of products in coated aluminium to meet all building envelope requirements. We offer a full range of services related to the products we manufacture such as aluminium composite panels, zinc composite panels and pre-painted sheets and coils.
We are looking for an
CUSTOMER TECHNICAL SUPPORT &SPECIFICATIONS ENGINEER
to join our team at Oinofyta, Viotia
As a Customer Technical Support &Specifications Engineer you'll be acting as a technical champion for our sales team. You'll leverage your expertise to educate customers involved in material selection, guiding them towards incorporating our best-in-class materials during the specification phase. By empowering customers with technical knowledge, you'll contribute to increased brand awareness and product demand, driving overall business growth.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements, determine the best solutions, and effectively communicate the value proposition of those solutions
- Respond promptly to customer requests for proposals, develop designs and product specification to match the needs of the project or application and address professionally their inquiries and concerns
- Cooperation with service centers - subcontractors for mockups and value engineering proposals
- Develop &maintain professional relationships with key accounts including Investors-Developers, Architects, General Contractors, Façade Consultants and Façade contractors
- Develop business on project basis
- Provide customer training and implementation assistance based on our products and services
- Representation in events and activities (Façade Conferences, Webinars, technical committees)
- Provide shoulder-to-shoulder knowledge transfer or training to implementation teams
Qualifications
- BSc degree in Engineering (Civil, Architecture etc.)
- MSc in Architecture or Engineering would be an asset
- Knowledge of CAD programs
- Excellent command of English language, both verbally and written
- Knowledge of German, Italian, or French will be highly appreciated
- At least five years of proven professional experience in aluminum façade materials and solutions
- At least five years of proven professional experience in international industrial sales
- Available for traveling as required
