As a Senior React Native Engineer, you will take ownership of our up-to-date mobile applications, both existing and upcoming. You will manage the entire release process through multiple environments, working closely with our cross-functional teams to architect, develop and test new features, maintain and improve our CI/CD pipelines and optimize performance where necessary.

Role Objectives

• Manage the entire release process for our React Native applications, from building new versions and code signing to getting approval from and publishing to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, managing builds for multiple environments and tracks (e.g. Dev, Staging and Production)
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, reusable and extensible components for our React Native applications
• Integrate key services using third-party SDKs for e.g. payments, analytics and customer support
• Proactively identify and fix performance bottlenecks i.e. improving rendering speed, optimizing image loading or reducing bundle sizes
• Work closely with product, design and engineering teams to deliver new features, complementing them with clear, concise documentation

Requirements

• 4 years of proven experience in building and shipping high-quality mobile apps to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
• Expert-level knowledge of React Native and its ecosystem
• Strong foundation in JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals (e.g. async/await, promises, closures) and React fundamentals (e.g. hooks, component lifecycle, context api), including state management (e.g. zustand)
• Experience with mobile-specific challenges like navigation, push notifications and the differences in styling for React Native
• Proficiency in unit testing (e.g. Jest) and debugging (e.g. React Native Debugger, Reactotron)
• Hands-on experience managing and automating builds and deployments using tools such as Fastlane
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Highly collaborative profile, with excellent communication skills in English
• Ability to work efficiently with cross-functional teams and independently applying Agile/Scrum delivery processes

Nice to have

• Experience with native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift), especially for building or maintaining Turbo Modules or native bridges
• Experience integrating third-party analytics and marketing SDKs (e.g. Firebase, Meta, TikTok) and/or payment gateway SDKs (e.g. Stripe, Nexi)

Education

• BSc in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or a related field is required

Work Location

Candidates must already be based in Greece and be able to commute to the Athens office
