Oceangold Tankers Inc. is seeking an experienced Superintendent Engineer for a group of modern MR and LR tankers.

To qualify for the position applicants must have minimum below criteria:

  • Polytechnic or equivalent engineering degree either as a Naval Architecture or Mechanical Engineer with a minimum 5 years office experience with Tankers company.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and industry requirements i.e. Class/Flag/SIRE/PSC /TMSA .
  • Knowledge of Danaos ERP is an advantage but not prerequisite.
  • Good command of English, as well as computer literacy are required.
  • Drydocking experience
  • EGCS operational knowledge will be considered as asset.

The Candidate should be responsible for a Fleet of maximum 5 vessels and assigned with below tasks:

  • Daily overall performance monitoring including troubleshooting, Class, Flag, SIRE arrangements.
  • Docking preparation and execution.
  • TMSA / ISM office preparation and execution.
  • NBs Claims Handling.
  • Travelling flexibility to attend for routine and non-routine matters.
