Business Process & Technology Specialist

We are seeking for a Business Process & Technology Specialist to join Piraeus Financial Markets [PFM] Piraeus' Business Division for Treasury, Global Markets and Sales activities. The role bridges business and technology, ensuring that efficient processes, data management and automation initiatives facilitate PFM's strategic goals, product and client services and enhance operational resilience, and digital maturity.

• Bridge business and technology functions by defining business requirements, validating system parameterization, and ensuring that technology enhancements align with PFM's trading, risk, and client-servicing objectives.
• Enhance business performance and process integrity across PFM business lines (Financial Performance, Interbank and Client Activity, Business Targets, Commercial Offering) through the identification and delivery of operational efficiencies, workflow optimization and improved control mechanisms.
• Lead business-driven automation initiatives that strengthen business performance, internal controls, enhance data traceability and promote operational excellence.
• Establish strong data governance and analytics frameworks, ensuring data lineage, integrity, and standardized definitions across PFM systems, incorporating Business Intelligence and GenAI capabilities.
• Oversee testing, validation, and rollout of process or system changes, ensuring proper stakeholder coordination and documentation.
• Ensure comprehensive process governance, maintaining accurate and up-to-date data dictionaries, workflows, operating procedures, and control guidelines.
• Monitor industry practices and provide consultation on business development.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Technology, Business Management or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in Financial Sector, Consulting and/or IT Services
• Excellent knowledge of capital markets and financial products
• Knowledge of data analysis models and database design
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Access, SQL, SharePoint, MS BI Tools), Cloud AI
• Very strong analytical skills and problem-solving mindset
• Ability to handle multiple project simultaneously, setting priorities and meeting deadlines
• Positive, committed and engaged attitude while demonstrating a team spirit and partnership
