Colgate Palmolive Athens plant has been operating since 1968 in Piraeus. It is a modern industrial unit with a high degree of automation. It has innovative equipment and follows an impressive course of development and modernization in all departments, such as packaging, mass production, palletizing, warehouse of materials and products. We are vertically integrated, operating a modern unit for the production of plastic bottles and caps, which is also constantly being upgraded. The factory produces most of the brands of the company's Home Care category, both for the domestic market but also for exports.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Maintenance team

The role : Maintenance Technician - Electrician

reporting to Electrical Maintenance Team Leader

After receiving the appropriate training, you will integrate in the Maintenance team, and you will be responsible to :

• Troubleshoot production lines as required to ensure equipment reliability and ongoing production.
• Perform preventive maintenance of industrial and building electrical equipment
• Understand and adhere to all Safety, Quality, Factory Performance and Reliability standards and guidelines.

What you need for this position:

• Academic background: Technological Educational Institute (TEI) related to Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical school
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in industry
• Knowledge of automatic control systems
• Communication skills: Excellent command of Greek and English languages
• Digital literacy: PC proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
• Possibility of working in the afternoon and evening shift
• Completed military service
• Ability to communicate optimally with all levels of the organization
• Ability to work in a self-directed manner and working collaboratively with others
• Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvements and assist with implementing them

It's an advantage to have:

• Programming knowledge (S5 / S7 / Logo)
