We are looking for a
Supply Chain Specialist
to enhance the Operations department of the company.

As a SC Specialist, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day activities of Operation Dept . You will be responsible for identifying purchasing needs as well as identifying vendors for goods and services.

The work location is in Athens and you will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager.

Responsibilities

• Understanding the purchasing needs and demands. Identifying the suppliers and vendors for goods. Negotiating with the suppliers which include price, quality, delivery time, etc.
• Preparing purchasing terms and conditions as well as pricing quotes. Creating purchase orders and ensuring that they tally with the order received. Analyzing the invoices to ensure accuracy.
• Working closely with the Production and Sales team members.
• Monitor and maintain current inventory level; process purchasing orders as required; track orders and investigate problems, taking actions that lead to inventory reduction.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales and Finance, to create effective business plans (Rolling Forecast) so teamwork skills are important,
• Monitor delivery schedule and customer orders
• Supporting KPIs monitoring and reporting
• Resolving shipment issues faced by the vendors.
• Working closely with 3PLs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or relevant field.
• Proven work experience (2 -3 years) as a Purchasing Specialist, Supply Assistant, or a similar position in the logistics department.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of Supply procedures.
• Good oral and written communication skills. (Gr & En)
• Amazing ability to solve complex problems.
• A strategic and analytical mind with creative and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication, organizational and project management skills
• Excellent Ms Office skills, ERP EnterSoft
