The Opportunity

We are looking for an Infrastructure Support Officer to play a pivotal role in our Azure Operations team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in managing and monitoring Azure infrastructure while ensuring optimal operation of network hardware. You will troubleshoot network and performance issues, perform system maintenance, and support security policies to assure high availability of our services.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor Azure Infrastructure (Systems, Firewalls, Load Balancers, etc.).
• Troubleshoot Azure network and performance issues.
• Perform system maintenance and updates.
• Operate and maintain security and backup policies.
• Monitor performance and ensure systems' availability on both physical and cloud datacenters.
• Remediate issues impacting the operation of the corporate voice and data infrastructure.
• Conduct root cause analysis for hardware or operating system failures and drive corrective action.
• Monitor infrastructure incidents and make recommendations for improvements.
• Negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors.
• Ensure optimal operation of all network hardware equipment such as Routers.
• Participate in team projects both internally and companywide.

Who Are We Looking For

• BSc/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least three years of relevant experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Windows Server OS (2016, 2019, 2022) and their components (AD, Entra ID, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP).
• Excellent knowledge of Azure Administration; Azure Administrator or Architect certification is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of O365 and M365 services.
• Good knowledge of enterprise networking (VLANs, Routing, Switching, IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, etc.).
• Familiarity with databases like MS SQL, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse, etc.
• Team player with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn, adapt, communicate, and organize.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Attention to detail and deadline-oriented.
