What You 'll Be Doing

• Collaborate with the IT Manager and IT Systems Administrators to design cybersecurity solutions aligned with existing infrastructure, industry best practices, and cutting-edge technologies, including relevant policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines
• Oversee data privacy and security technologies to ensure ongoing compliance and protection
•  Investigate security incidents and recommend effective countermeasures
• Validate that new projects and services comply with established security standards and requirements
• Maintain and update corporate information security policies, procedures, plans, and related documentation
• Undertake the ISO 27001 recertification and processes.
• Cooperate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) which monitors the organization and follow up on security issues with the SOC team.
• Offer expert guidance, research, and support on information security to development and infrastructure teams
• Create and deliver information security training and awareness materials
• Ensure optimal protection of organizational assets and data (at-rest, in-transit, and in-use) through appropriate technical and organizational controls
• Monitor and review user access to organizational systems and resources

Qualifications & Experience

• BSc in Information Security or in a related field (Master's is considered a plus)
• 5+ years of experience as an IT Security Professional

· Experience in ISO 27001 environments

• Strong knowledge of technology and IT industry, standards, current trends and best practices
• Knowledge of common information security management frameworks is a plus
• Experience in Vulnerability Management, Risk Management
• Professional security management certification is considered an asset (CISA, CISM, CISSP etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high level of personal integrity
