For the Senior Security Engineer position, we expect you to demonstrate expertise in the following areas:

  • Solution Design, Implementation and Operation and Architecture:
    Design, implement and operate cybersecurity solutions.
  • Technical Consultation:
    Offer expert guidance to clients on their cyber security technical needs.
  • Requirement Analysis:
    Collaborate with clients to comprehend their cybersecurity requirements, conduct in-depth analysis of existing infrastructure, and translate needs into actionable solutions.
  • Implementation and Deployment:
    Take charge of implementing and deploying Security solutions in client environments, ensuring smooth integration and minimal operational disruption.
  • Technical Documentation:
    Create comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures.
  • Projects Effort Estimation and Presales Activities:
    Provide effort estimations and assistance on the drafting of technical offers, regarding prospect Cyber Security Projects.
  • Training and Knowledge Transfer:
    Conduct training sessions for clients and internal teams, promoting knowledge transfer and skill development.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

Your experience, skillset and qualifications are going to help you succeed in this position, moving forward.

  • University/College degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology or other relative discipline
  • A Master's Degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, or similar area will be considered an asset
  • 5+ years of proven working experience as a Security Engineer or in a relevant role
  • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and encryption
  • Familiarity with network and web-related protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTTPS, etc.)
  • Information Security related certifications will be considered as a plus (such as CISSP, Azure Cybersecurity Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate, etc.)
  • A good level of understanding of established Information Security frameworks (i.e., NIST, ISO 27001)
  • Problem solving skills, analytical thinking
  • Strong communication skills, allowing for effective collaboration and the ability to explain complex security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in cybersecurity
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Flexibility to travel abroad (mainly EU countries, 5% of the working time)
