The Opportunity

We're looking for a hands-on Assistant Accountant to join our growing startup and work closely with our in-house accountant, supporting daily accounting and payroll operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, learning by doing, and contributing to a lean, fast-moving team.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Support daily accounting operations and bookkeeping
  • Work with SoftOne ERP for financial entries and reconciliations
  • Assist with payroll processing, submissions, and related reporting
  • Support month-end closings and basic financial reporting
  • Coordinate with external accountants, payroll providers, and advisors
  • Keep financial data accurate, organized, and audit-ready
  • Help improve and streamline finance processes as we scale

What We're Looking For

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Practical experience with SoftOne
  • Experience in payroll (μισθοδοσία)
  • Solid understanding of Greek accounting & payroll rules
  • Startup mindset: proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility
  • Good command of English
  • Comfortable with Excel and digital tools
