What you'll do

As an iOS Developer, you will be part of an agile team and contribute in designing and implementing Vodafone's high volume and high impact mobile applications (Vodafone app, CU app). 

Key accountabilities:  

  • Collaborate with Vodafone business and product teams to develop Vodafone's mobile applications  
  • Work with solution architects and other developers to produce "just enough" design  
  • Ensure technical integrity and quality control consistency throughout the development life cycle   
  • Writing clean and concise code 
  • Unit testing deliverables (user stories) against acceptance tests  
  • Conduct code reviews by providing constructive feedback 
Who you are
  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or another related field 
  • 2 years of experience in mobile application development, ideally with Swift  
  • Solid development skills in Xcode and latest iOS SDKs 
  • Experience with version control systems (i.e. GitHub, GitLab, etc.)  
  • Experience with Web Services, XML, JSON, RESTfull and SOAP  
  • Understanding of MVC or MVVM Architecture and knowledge of Design Patterns 
  • Open source contributing will be considered a plus 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving & time-management skills  
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills 
  • Self-motivated and self-managing with strong interpersonal skills   
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills (English is a must) 
  • Working experience in agile environments/teams will be highly appreciated
