Semac Group is seeking a creative and motivated 
Full Stack Developer / IT Support Engineer
 to join our team in Thessaloniki.

The main focus of this role is to 
develop, maintain, and enhance
 Semac's internal software tools and digital systems, primarily using 
Angular
, 
TypeScript
, and 
Firebase
, while also having the flexibility to work with 
React
, 

, and other modern frameworks when appropriate.

Beyond daily development tasks, this position provides an excellent opportunity for 
continuous professional growth
 — the selected candidate will have the chance to 
expand their existing knowledge, explore new technologies, and develop innovative digital solutions
 that support Semac's operations.

The role also includes 
basic IT support
 responsibilities, ensuring smooth operation of the company's systems (Microsoft accounts, emails, and access management).

Key Responsibilities

Software Development (Main Focus)

  • Maintain and improve existing in-house web applications using 
    Angular
    , 
    TypeScript
    , and 
    Firebase
     (Firestore, Functions, Authentication).
  • Design and implement new features, tools, and interfaces to optimize workflows across company departments.
  • When appropriate, utilize 
    React
    , 

    , or other modern frameworks to develop new applications and platforms.
  • Collaborate with management and teams to analyze operational needs and translate them into efficient digital solutions.
  • Ensure code quality, scalability, and security across all projects.
  • Manage integrations between front-end and back-end systems and maintain related documentation.

IT Support (Secondary Responsibilities)

  • Manage and maintain 
    Microsoft 365 accounts
    , shared mailboxes, and user permissions.
  • Provide basic IT assistance to staff (passwords, software, email setup, access control).
  • Support the setup and maintenance of computers, software updates, and company devices.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience with 
    Angular
     and 
    TypeScript/JavaScript
    .
  • Experience with 
    Firebase
     (Firestore, Functions, Authentication, Hosting).
  • Familiarity with 
    React
    , 

    , or other modern frameworks.
  • Understanding of REST APIs, cloud databases, and version control (Git).
  • Basic knowledge of 
    Microsoft 365 administration
     and IT infrastructure.
  • Creative mindset, initiative, and eagerness to learn and explore new technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and fluency in English and Greek.
