Sportsbook Frontend Product Owner

What you'll be getting up to: 

We are seeking a highly motivated Sportsbook Frontend Product Owner (android app) to lead the development and optimization of our sportsbook user experience. This role will be responsible for defining the backlog, sprint goal, and requirements for the frontend sportsbook platform, ensuring an intuitive, engaging, and seamless betting experience for our users. You will collaborate with UX/UI designers, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality features that drive user engagement and business growth. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Product Strategy & Roadmap: 

• Own the sportsbook frontend product backlog, prioritizing features based on business objectives, user needs, and market trends. 

• Work closely with stakeholders, including Director of Sportsbook, Director of Trading, product team, marketing, operations, and IT teams, to align product vision with company goals. 

• Stay updated on industry best practices, competitor offerings, and emerging trends in sports betting UX/UI. 

User Experience & Feature Development: 

• Define and refine sportsbook frontend features, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience across web and android platforms. 

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create wireframes, prototypes, and user flows that enhance the betting experience. 

• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications. 

Agile Product Development: 

• Act as the Product Owner in an Agile development environment, managing the backlog and prioritizing sprints. 

• Work closely with frontend developers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality, scalable, and responsive UI components. 

• Attend regular sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to improve team performance and efficiency. 

Performance Monitoring & Optimization: 

• Analyse user behaviour, feedback, and key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. 

• Ensure android app performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across different devices and locales. 

Requirements: Experience & Skills: 

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role in the sportsbook or online gaming industry. 

• Strong understanding of sportsbook platforms, betting markets, and user behavior. 

• Experience with frontend technologies and UI/UX best practices for web and mobile applications. 

• Proven track record of delivering successful, user-centric digital products. 

• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams. 

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. 

• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Figma, and Google Analytics. Preferred Qualifications:
