About the Company
Our client is a well-established engineering, certification, and training organization with operations in Greece and abroad. They provide high-quality services that support safety, environmental protection, and compliance with international standards in the maritime and industrial sectors.
We are looking for a senior-level professional with strong technical background in ships and marine systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspecting ships, offshore units, and marine equipment according to international standards and company procedures.
- Checking key systems such as the hull, machinery, electrical systems, safety equipment, and environmental protection systems.
- Making sure vessels comply with international regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM, ISPS, MLC, etc.).
- Carrying out audits and reviewing technical plans and risk assessments.
- Writing clear and accurate reports.
- Advising clients like shipowners, shipyards, and flag administrations.
- Cooperating with authorities and staying up to date with industry regulations and trends.
- Promoting safety and professionalism in all your work.
Qualifications & Experience
- University degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience
in the maritime sector (e.g. onboard experience, shipbuilding, technical inspections). - Solid knowledge of international maritime rules and classification standards.
- Strong technical judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Fluency in English
- Willingness to travel in Greece and abroad
