About the Company

Our client is a well-established engineering, certification, and training organization with operations in Greece and abroad. They provide high-quality services that support safety, environmental protection, and compliance with international standards in the maritime and industrial sectors.

We are looking for a senior-level professional with strong technical background in ships and marine systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspecting ships, offshore units, and marine equipment according to international standards and company procedures.
• Checking key systems such as the hull, machinery, electrical systems, safety equipment, and environmental protection systems.
• Making sure vessels comply with international regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM, ISPS, MLC, etc.).
• Carrying out audits and reviewing technical plans and risk assessments.
• Writing clear and accurate reports.
• Advising clients like shipowners, shipyards, and flag administrations.
• Cooperating with authorities and staying up to date with industry regulations and trends.
• Promoting safety and professionalism in all your work.

Qualifications & Experience

• University degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
• At least 5 years of experience
  in the maritime sector (e.g. onboard experience, shipbuilding, technical inspections).
• Solid knowledge of international maritime rules and classification standards.
• Strong technical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Fluency in English
• Willingness to travel in Greece and abroad
